Pradeep K.C is a Kho-Kho player for 15 years.  Ever since Pradeep saw his senior Ruby Shankar who is a national level Kho-Kho player in his high school, he knew he wanted to be a Kho-Kho player. Hailing from Tirthahalli, Karnataka State he started playing at the age of 12.

He studied what his heart loves. After graduation, he pursued B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed. Currently, working as a Physical Director in Alva's College, Moodbidri .It's so wonderful that he gets paid to the thing what he loves to do.

He played and won several matches from 2007 to 2015 one after another. Four times he won the National Level - senior category. Three times sub-junior category in National Level.  Participated and won four Open All India Open Tournament.

The noteworthy achievements are in 2003 Bharath National Award held in West Bengal Siliguri,

Alva’s Abhimanyu Award in 2013, Karnataka Kreeda Ratna Award in 2016.  Recently he participated in South Asia India Camp.

"The love of family and the admiration of friends is much more important than wealth and privilege"- Charles Kuralt.  Pradeep K.C has a family who is more important than wealth and privilege. They supported him all the way.

His message to society and Government is we need to play and develop Rural Traditional Games. The government should provide job opportunities and financial assistance for players. So it would be opportunity and encouragement for upcoming players.
